Former CEO of Honeywell International Inc. selected to lead RTI board after acquisition 

MINNEAPOLIS – May 28, 2015 – Restaurant Technologies Inc. (RTI) is pleased to announce that prolific business leader and author Larry Bossidy is the new chairman of the board of directors at RTI. EQT Infrastructure Limited (“EQT Infrastructure”) recently sold RTI to a group of investors led by Aurora Capital Group (“Aurora”), a Los Angeles-based private investment firm.

A graduate of Colgate University, Bossidy began his career at General Electric, where he served in a number of positions with GE, including chief operating officer of General Electric Credit Corporation (now GE Capital Corporation), executive vice president and president of GE’s services and materials sector, and vice chairman and executive officer of General Electric Company.

In 1991, Bossidy joined AlliedSignal Inc. as chairman and CEO, where he is credited with transforming AlliedSignal into one of the world’s most admired companies. He was named CEO of the Year by Financial World magazine in 1994 and Chief Executive of the Year by CEO Magazine in 1998.

Bossidy became chairman of Honeywell International Inc., following the merger of AlliedSignal and Honeywell in December 1999. He retired in April 2000. He returned as chairman and CEO of Honeywell International Inc. in July 2001, following General Electric’s unsuccessful acquisition bid for Honeywell. He retired from Honeywell again in 2002.

Additionally, Bossidy is co-author of the best-selling book “Execution: The Discipline of Getting Things Done” and its sequel, “Confronting Reality: Master the New Model for Success.”
