Restaurant Technologies, Inc. Recognized by CIO Magazine as One of the CIO 100 Award Honorees

September 14, 2012—IDG’s CIO magazine announces Restaurant Technologies, Inc as a recipient of the 2012 CIO 100 Award. The 25th annual award program recognizes organizations around the world that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in Information Technology (IT).

Efficiencies for Restaurant Technologies have been gained via the data gathering process necessary to produce and review key performance metrics and provide insight into development opportunities for their Customers.  Prior to Customer Centric Reporting, it often took over a week to manually assemble information, involving many people across the organization using multiple sources for information gathering. Today, the information is available in minutes from the data warehouse, which provides Account managers with scorecards and allows them to gain insight into the customer’s total operation before walking in the door. This information is combined with regular account reviews to further develop the partnership and add value for the customer. As one customer stated “You know more about my operation than I do”.

The recipients of this year’s CIO 100 award were selected through a three-step process. First, companies filled out an online application form detailing their innovative IT and business initiatives. Next, a team of judges reviewed the applications in depth, looking for unique practices and substantial results. Finally, CIO editors reviewed the judges’ recommendations and voted on the final 100.
