Jeffrey R. Kiesel

Chief Executive Officer

With more than 25 years of senior leadership experience, Jeff Kiesel is both the head and heart of Restaurant Technologies. He led the company to expand into a national service provider, established a new products team which has successfully launched a series of value added services, and continues to lead the evolution of an innovative and highly engaged team of over 900. Jeff joined in 2005 as CEO and stands by the set of values we call the 5 C’s: customer, character, commitment, courage, and community. These values ensure that we put our customers and our community, first – never being afraid to reach out to help, lead by example, and always put our best foot forward. As part of this commitment, Jeff drives the Restaurant Technologies Cares program and is Chairman of the RT Educational Foundation. He also serves as the chairperson of the CEO Connection Talent Management Committee, serves on the Nixon Medical Board of Directors, and the SALO Advisory Board.
Jeff held previous positions as CEO, president and senior vice president in both large and small companies across multiple industries, including 18 years with GE and GE Capital, and C-level positions with G&K Services and VIZTA3D Inc.
Jeff earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Williams College, Williamstown, MA, and an MBA from the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. Family and fitness are passions for Jeff, including joining the Restaurant Technologies Team competing in Tough Mudder events.

Robert E. Weil

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Bob Weil contributes significantly to the strategic direction of Restaurant Technologies as we continue to grow. With more than 25 years of finance and management experience, Bob brings perspective from the fast-paced world of air transport, having held financial management positions with MAIR Holdings (the parent company of Mesaba and Big Sky Airlines) and Northwest Airlines (now Delta). As a member of the team since 2007, Bob's key accomplishments include recapitalizing the company's new debt and equity financings in 2009 as well as executing the sale to EQT Partners in 2011 and to Aurora Capital in 2015. In 2015 Bob was selected as CFO of the year by Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Bob is a graduate of Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in economics and holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. An avid cyclist, Bob bikes to work and has completed the 100-mile-long Century Ride for Tour de Cure every year since 2012.

Jason Cocco

Senior Vice President of Sales

Jason joined Restaurant Technologies in 2011. He leads our national account sales teams, supporting customers in the QSR, casual dining, grocery, convenience store, hospitality and non-commercial market segments.

Jason brings more than 15 years of business development and general management experience within the consumer goods, high-tech and retail industries from past positions with The Nielsen Company, Accenture and Procter & Gamble.

He has a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering technology from the University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Outside of work, you can find Jason in the kitchen rolling pasta and uncorking a bottle of his own Viognier wine.

Amy O’Neil

Senior Vice President - Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Amy heads up the 40 depots and more than 700 employees that deliver great service to our customers every day. As the former Senior Vice President of Operations for Caribou Coffee, Amy worked her way up through the ranks and was instrumental in scaling the business to nearly 500 outlets over her sixteen-year career. Amy also has experience as an entrepreneur, starting her own restaurant franchisee business, PhaseNext Hospitality, with four great national brands.

She combines a deep knowledge of operational excellence with a restaurant customer perspective. Amy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Milwaukee area native. In her free time, Amy enjoys checking out new restaurants, traveling anywhere warm and rough housing with her 180-pound Saint Bernard, Wilhelmina.

Mark J. Copeland

Chief Marketing Officer - SVP New Product Development

Mark leads marketing and product development for Restaurant Technologies: getting the message out about the value and benefits of innovative solutions to make kitchens smarter and safer and bringing new innovations, like AutoMist, to market.

Prior to joining Restaurant Technologies, Mark had 25 years of marketing and sales experience in both Europe and the USA, serving as Vice President of Marketing for Ecolab in the U.S., Metro Group in the U.K., and Senior Director of Marketing for SC Johnson in both Europe and the U.S.

Mark holds a very relevant degree in Medieval History from the University of Cambridge in the U.K. When the Mississippi is not actually frozen you can find him on the river most early mornings with the Minneapolis Rowing Club.

Lori Wall

Chief Human Resources Officer

Lori heads up Human Resources for Restaurant Technologies, fueling the company’s growth with an increasingly talented team. Lori brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, shared services and finance from her previous career at blue chip companies including as Cargill, Taylor Corporation, Chubb Insurance and Northbrook Insurance. Lori is also a member of the board of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and of Simpson Housing Services.

A native of Minnesota, Lori received her MBA from the University of St. Thomas - Opus School of Business and holds a BS in Marketing and Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She has a passion for helping people reach their potential and ensuring the environment enables high performance. When she is not improving the flow of talent to Restaurant Technologies, Lori is spending time with her family watching, coaching and playing sports, including finishing the Twin Cities 10-mile race for the past 17 years.

Tina Swanson

Vice President of Customer Experience

Tina leads the Field Sales, Customer Experience, Account Management and Sales Force Effectiveness functions with the goal of expanding the overall value that we bring to customers every day through process rigor and exceptional service.

Tina has nearly 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Six Sigma. She spent many years at General Electric Company and Ceridian Corporation prior to joining Restaurant Technologies in 2012.

Tina holds a BA degree in Sociology from the University of MN and an MBA and Master's degree in Industrial Resources also from the University of MN. She is a certified Master Black Belt through the General Electric Company. In her spare time, she enjoys running 5K races and other fitness challenges such as Tough Mudder, but is most often found in a high school gym watching her three children play basketball.

Lisa Merryfield

Vice President, McDonald's Business Unit

Lisa was one of the original founders of Restaurant Technologies in 1997. With this tenure and loyalty as her background, she has been the key executive assigned to McDonald's since inception. In addition to developing the strategy to grow and maintain our core business with McDonald's, Lisa's focused on understanding where the top quick service restaurant brand is headed in the future to identify new business opportunities where we can add value and expand its partnership with the McDonald's system.

Prior to taking the founder's leap, Lisa gained national chain and franchisee community experience as the McDonald's account manager for MVE, Inc. and worked for The Limited Corporation. She holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and in her free time, she loves to travel and try the latest culinary trends.

Bruce Atkinson

Chief Information Officer, VP of IT

Bruce is passionate about using technology to enable growth and productivity at Restaurant Technologies. Focusing on the business facilitates his practical approach toward technology. His current role is delivering innovative technology solutions to support Safer, Smarter Kitchens by leveraging the Internet of Things, Big Data, and Cloud computing.

Prior to joining Restaurant Technologies, Bruce had a variety of global leadership positions with Thomson Reuters. Most recently, he held the roles of CTO and VP of IT within NorthStar Education Services and Great Lakes Higher Education Corp in the student loan industry.

Bruce holds bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a MBA from the University of Saint Thomas. When not at work, Bruce enjoys cycling and each Fall sets out on a 4-day ride through the rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin.

Bradley J. Schoenbauer

Vice President - Process Optimization

One of the original founders of Restaurant Technologies, Brad is vice president of process improvement. He leads the processes that keep our customers in oil seamlessly, without even having to order, through our fleet of 350+ vehicles making over 30,000 oil deliveries a month.

Brad previously spent seven years as a flight controller in the Mission Control Center for NASA’s Space Shuttle program, rising to the top position in the Guidance, Navigation, and Control group, participating in the high-stress launch and landing phases of the Shuttle missions.

Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame and serves on the regional Board of Directors for the Mayo Clinic Health System. When Brad isn’t engineering something new, you might just find him scoring a hole in one on a golf course in Ireland. Luck of the Irish or perfectly calculated aerodynamics; we’ll never know.
