Restaurant Technologies in the Community

Giving back to the communities that support us is in our DNA. The Restaurant Technologies Cares Committee is dedicated to bringing the 5 C's to life by strengthening the communities in which we live and work. This committee has organized countless volunteer events, drives, sponsored events and donations to non-profits.

We are so proud to partner with organizations including Ronald McDonald House Charities (The Giving Tree, Cooks for Kids), Memorial Blood Center, Feed My Starving Children, American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure, Junior Achievement, Soldier’s 6, The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation’s Back-to-School Backpack Drive and The Sandwich Project. Restaurant Technologies has raised over $60,000 for the American Diabetes Association and $10,000 for the Special Olympics.

Whether it’s in time or money, our favorite way to give is to give often.

Education

When it comes to creating economic mobility, getting a quality post-secondary education is the closest thing to a silver bullet. People who obtain a bachelor’s degree earn on average $1 million more over their lifetimes than a high school graduate. Through our educational foundation RT provides cash assistance in the form of grants to its employees' children.

ENVIRONMENT

By eliminating cardboard and plastic packaging containers, providing effortless oil recycling, and reducing environmental contamination and residual oil waste, the Restaurant Technologies' Total Oil Management program makes it easy to be environmentally friendly.

COMMUNITY

We are passionate about supporting the communities where our employees live and work, reaching out to those in need and seeking to enhance the well-being of people and communities. Our associates, past and present, are encouraged to become involved in programs within their communities.

Restaurant Technologies Educational Foundation

College is expensive. According to Bloomberg, the cost of a college degree in the United States has increased 12-fold over the past 30 years. Statistics show that level of education correlates directly with the level of earnings and job opportunities over time. We believe every student should be afforded the opportunity to get a post-secondary education.

Restaurant Technologies invests in developing the next generation of leaders. The Educational Foundation awards merit-based college scholarships of up to $2,500 per year to children of Restaurant Technologies employees attending two- or four-year colleges and universities. Selection is based on academic promise, leadership, extracurricular activities and exemplary citizenship.

Help us develop the next generation of leaders.
