Before taking the “founder’s leap,” Lisa Merryfield, who is now the Vice President, McDonald’s Business Unit, gained national chain and franchisee community experience as the McDonald’s account manager for MVE, Inc. and worked for The Limited Corporation.
So what kinds of problems do we tackle at Restaurant Technologies? Our primary solution, total oil management, is meant to relieve commercial kitchens of the messiest and most dangerous job in the kitchen: cooking oil removal, disposal and replacement. Cooking oil keeps foods tasting fresh and is essential to creating delicious meals that keep people coming back again and again. However, the management of that oil can be really dangerous and messy… so we automated it! Additionally, we have created many other technologies that use automation and the Internet of Things (IoT) to make restaurant owners’ and employees’ lives easier. We’ve been helping kitchens all over the country since 1996.
