Restaurant Technologies Inc. to Feature Cooking Oil Management Expertise at MUFSO 2015

RTI solution helps food service businesses improve food quality and consistency, operational efficiency, safety, cleanliness and sustainability

MINNEAPOLIS – September 10, 2015 – Restaurant Technologies Inc. (RTI), the leader in smart, safe, sustainable cooking oil and operations management technology, is pleased to announce that it has signed on to exhibit at the Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators (MUFSO) show Sept. 20-22 in Dallas. RTI representatives are planning to share their expertise and solutions for improving food quality, operational efficiency, safety, cleanliness and sustainability through RTI’s automated delivery, storage, handling and disposal of frying oil.

“We’re thrilled to be back at MUFSO this year. The show provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with restaurant industry peers and customers,” said Jeff Kiesel, RTI CEO. “We look forward to engaging attendees to address their needs and share our point of view on how to deliver the exceptional foods their customers demand.”

Additionally, MUFSO attendees can expect a visual learning experience of the RTI solution and TOM through videos and demonstrations. TOM is the Web-based customer portal that gives food service managers an easy-to-use dashboard for visibility into each location’s performance and compliance to their standard operating procedures. This performance data, pulled from the oil management solution, point-of-sale (POS) terminal and other details throughout business operations, is continually updated for daily analysis. Attendees can expect to learn how TOM can arm them with essential information to help improve staff training, correct employee behavior, forecast future oil usage and identify areas to improve efficiencies.

RTI subject matter experts are going to be available to discuss how the oil management solution and technology platform operates in multiple food service environments and how RTI support can improve these areas of operation:

Food quality – How to best maintain high levels of food quality and consistency with no disruption to service by installing a closed-loop oil management system.
Efficiency – How to help automate oil management to reduce labor costs during a time of rising minimum wage, and eliminate repair and replacement costs while gaining full visibility into cooking-oil age and usage.
Safety – How to eliminate the worst job in the kitchen as well as oil spills by automating the cooking-oil filling, filtration and disposal processes, and reduce employees’ risk of cooking-oil-related injury.
Sustainability – How to lower your environmental footprint by turning used frying oil into biodiesel and eliminating plastic packaging containers.
“Based on our years of experience working with all types and sizes of food service businesses, we can help attendees address their needs and improve on the essential pillars that impact their business,” said Kiesel.

Attendees can visit RTI at booth #4 located in the Sponsor Showcase area at MUFSO. For more information about the RTI automated oil management system, click here.
