RTI solution enables FATZ Café to improve food quality and efficiency across popular casual-dining establishment.
MINNEAPOLIS – October 1, 2015 – Restaurant Technologies Inc. (RTI) is pleased to announce that its industry-leading Total Oil Management Solution is going to be installed in all 46 FATZ Café locations as early as November 2015. FATZ Café is the popular casual-dining restaurant group recognized for its fresh, homemade foods, Southern hospitality and spirited connection to the communities where it conducts business.
The decision to install the RTI solution across the entire restaurant network came soon after RTI test locations reported that customers commented on the improvement in food quality of some of FATZ Café’s signature fried foods.
“Our regular customers spoke up and we listened,” said Ken Alexander, operating partner of FATZ Café in Greer, South Carolina. “We’ve had regulars say that the food, particularly our famous Calabash Chicken, looks and tastes better than it ever has. Customer satisfaction and the quality of our food are what we value the most at FATZ. We’re thrilled to be rolling out the RTI solution in all of our locations so we can continue to deliver on that promise.”
The FATZ Café locations currently using RTI have also reported a significant increase in oil-filtration success (55 percent) and decreased excessive oil usage due to controlled adding and disposing. In addition, the restaurants have saved costs due in part to an 18 percent reduction in oil use.
