International marketing leader joins industry-leading oil management team

MINNEAPOLIS – September 15, 2015 – Restaurant Technologies Inc. (RTI) announced today that marketing and sales leader Mark Copeland has joined the RTI team as the new Vice President and CMO. With over 25 years of experience in worldwide consumer products, business-to-business and retail, Copeland is expected to lead marketing strategy and operations to reach national food service customers. In addition, he plans to provide best practices and offer advice to help RTI’s customers improve the operational profitability, quality and safety of their restaurant operations.

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Copeland began his career as a marketing analyst at Saatchi & Saatchi in London, United Kingdom. He went on to land a position at SC Johnson, working his way up to senior marketing director.

Across his previous posts, Copeland has driven more than $680 million in sales and $170 million in profit growth. His marketing and sales experiences were set in both Europe and the USA, serving as vice president of marketing for Ecolab in the United States, Metro Group in the UK, and senior director of marketing for SC Johnson in both Europe and the United States.
